Cool Dynamo stuff outside of Revit – Quickpost

So I’ve been really trying to get back into using Dynamo for Revit after being away from it for so long. Since I’m not an architect and I don’t play with computational design all that much, I am still interested in the concept of Dynamo as a whole. I am also interested in the other uses it may have outside of that world.

I was playing today and quickly generated a list of random numbers and wrote the output to an Excel file. No programming, no custom Python scripts…all outside of the Revit environment (Dynamo can run as it’s own application).

BTW. I know you can do this inside of Excel. That’s not the point. The point is to set parameters once, quickly iterate through and output. I think it’s pretty awesome!
